USING NOTES OFFLINE
You can also create a replica on a server of only selected documents from a local application. For example, such a replica might back up important documents without using up much storage space on the server. You cannot select documents in a local application and create another replica locally, but you can modify an existing local application to include only the documents you select.
Tip: There are other ways to make a replica partial, for example by specifying that it contain only documents in specified folders or views, or contain only data specified in a formula. For more information see Saving space in a replica.
To create a partial replica that contains only selected documents
By default, a partial replica of selected documents contains the full content of the documents. Notes creates the replica in your data directory by default.
1. Open the application.
2. Select the documents you want to work with.
3. Drag the documents to the Replication and Sync icon.
Modify the file name for the replica in the File path field. To specify a file path, click the folder icon and browse to the directory on the server where you want to save the replica.
9. Click OK.
