Deleting, removing, or tracking messages from the Sent view
The Sent view of your mail application displays all messages you have sent, by date and name of first recipient. In the Sent view, you can either delete a message from all folders and views in your mail application or remove it from the Sent view only. You can also track sent messages to learn what servers they move through.

When you click the trash can icon above the Sent view, a dialog box opens asking whether you want to delete or remove selected messages. This dialog box does not display if you select the Don't ask me again check box. To see the dialog box again, click Actions > More > Preferences and, in the When I delete any document in the Sent view field, select Ask me.
