Calendar & To Do display preferences - Views
You can set preferences to determine what information displays in different calendar views and how it displays.

To set calendar view preferences, click File > Preferences, click Calendar and To Do, and then click Views.


Views options

Start of work day

End of work day

Set the default work period for each day. The calendar displays the work period you specify in white and shades the rest of the time gray.
Each time slotSets the amount of time between time slots.
Days in work weekSets the days of the week to display in the One Work Week view.
Display new (unprocessed) noticesShows placeholders on the calendar for meeting notices that you have not responded to yet.

Placeholders for new meeting notices are grayed out on the calendar and known as meeting ghosts. The placeholders do not count as busy time in your free time schedule.

Process cancelled meetings automaticallyProcesses cancelled meeting notices upon receipt. Select Remove from calendar to remove the meetings from the calendar, or select Show as cancelled in calendar to display the meetings as cancelled on the calendar.
Display To Do entriesShows to do items on the calendar.
Display overdue To Do items on the current dayShows overdue to do items on the current date on the calendar rather than on the due date of the items.
