Database Properties Information tab
From the Database Properties Information tab, you can compact a NotesR application when the disk space being used by an application is more than 90%, if it uses simple encryption. You can also view user and server activity, and see how often a Notes application is accessed.

Although compacting an application does not reduce its size, it does recover unused space so the application can operate most efficiently.

1. Open a Notes application.

2. Click File > Application > Properties.

3. Click the Info tab, and then do any of the following:


Tasks on the Database Properties Information tab
TaskSteps
View amount of disk space usedClick % used.
Compact applicationIf percent used is more than 90%, click Compact.
View user or server sessionClick User Detail.
