Marking documents as expired or unexpired
In some applications, such as mail, discussion, Document Library, and TeamRoom applications, you can mark documents as expired on a specific date, and then have IBMR Lotus NotesR archive the documents the next time archiving occurs after that date.

At any time after you mark a document as expired until archiving occurs, you can mark the document as unexpired. Documents marked for expiration appear in mail views with a small clock icon. In other applications such as discussion applications, marked documents appear with the word "EXPIRED" before their titles.

Note: To mark a mail draft expired, do so from the All Documents view.

Note: Before you can archive expired documents, the application must have a set of enabled archive criteria that includes documents that are marked as expired.
