Changing display of the calendar
You can customize the display of your calendar in many ways.

Calendar display options
    Task
    Description
    Change how many days the calendar shows at a time
Click the arrow next to the Day, Week, or Month tab at the top of the calendar, and then click a day option (One Day or Two Days), week option (One Week, One Work Week, Two Weeks, or Two Work Weeks), or month option (One Month or One Work Month).

To change the first day shown in the calendar in week and month views, see Changing regional calendar preferences under Related Tasks below.

    Preview the selected calendar entry
Click Preview at the bottom of the calendar.

To hide the preview pane, click Preview again.

    Show placeholders for meeting notices you have not responded to yet
Click File > Preferences , click the Calendar and To Do section, click Display, click Views, and then select Display new (unprocessed) notices.

Placeholders for new meeting notices, also known as meeting ghosts, are grayed out on the calendar by default and do not count as busy time in your free time schedule.

    Show only certain kinds of entries
Click Filter by at the top of the calendar, and then click a filtering method.

For example, you could click Chair to show only meetings led by a certain person or click Type to show only appointments.

    Show cancelled meetings
    Click File > Preferences, click the Calendar and To Do section, click Display, click Views, select Process cancelled meetings automatically, and then select Show as cancelled in calendar.
    Show or hide activities
    Click My Calendars in the Views panel of your calendar's navigator, and select or deselect the check box beside the name of the activities set.
    Show or hide other calendars
    Click My Calendars in the Views panel of your calendar's navigator, and select or deselect the check box beside the name of the calendar.
    Show or hide to do items
    Click File > Preferences, click the Calendar and To Do section, click Display, click Views, and then select or clear Display To Do Entries.
    Show or hide time slots, change the time slot interval, or change the time slots shown

    Show or hide the number of days, weeks, or months left in the year at the bottom of the calendar
    Click Show at the top of the calendar and select or deselect Calendar Footer. To change the footer's format, click the arrow at the end of the footer and select the Day, Week, or Month format.
    Change the color of an entry type
    Click File > Preferences, click the Calendar and To Do section, click the Colors tab, and then specify background and text colors for the entry type.
    Show the calendar as a list of entries

    Show or hide summaries of entries
Click Formatting at the top of the calendar, and then click Summarize.
    Customize calendar rows and columns
Click View in the menu bar, and then click Customize This View.

For example, you could increase the width of certain columns or decrease the size of all rows in the calendar.
