Copying, cutting, and pasting
You can copy, cut and paste text, graphics, tables, and more.

You can copy, move (cut and paste), and delete the following:


To copy, cut, and paste data, select the data and then do any of the following tasks:

CopyClick Edit > Copy.

Note: You can copy rich text, graphics, tables, and objects to rich-text fields only.

Cut (and move to another location)Click Edit > Cut.
DeleteClick Edit > Delete.
PasteClick where you want to place the data, then clickEdit > Paste.
Paste in a different format1. Click where you want to place the data, then click Edit > Paste Special.

2. In the As field Select the format (choices will vary).

Copy a document from one IBMR Lotus NotesR application to another1. Select the one or more document to copy.

2. Click Edit > Copy (or Edit > Cut to remove the document).

3. Open the target application, and then click Edit > Paste.

Note: If you copy a document into an application that doesn't share the same form as document you are copying, the default form in the new application is used to display the copied document content. If the default form or view does not have some or all the same fields, you may have trouble reading the information in the document.

Copy documents and paste them as a table1. Select the one or more document to copy.

2. Click Edit > Copy as Table

3. Place the cursor in the document where you want the table and click Edit > Paste.
