Working with links for an application, view, or document
A link connects to other documents, views, folders, or applications, depending on the type of link.

To open a link, you must have access to the application the link leads to, which must be on a DominoR server on your network. The type of link can be identified by its icon:

Application link Application link

View or folder link View or folder link

You can perform the following tasks using links.

Return to the original documentWhen you finish viewing the document, application, view or folder that you linked to, press Esc to return to the original document that included the link.
Display the destination for the linkHold the cursor over the link to display the destination in the status bar. (This does not work if the document that includes the link is in edit mode.)
Open the view that contains the document that a document link is pointing toRight-click the document link, and click Open View.
Open the application that contains the document that a document link is pointing toRight-click the document link, and click Open Application.
Open the application that contains the view that a view link is pointing toRight-click the view link, and click Open Application.
Open a link in a new windowRight-click the link, and click Open in New Window.
Bookmark a linkRight-click the link, and click Create Bookmark from Link.
Open the view that the current open document is in, without closing the document (for documents opened using a doclink)Click View > Go up to Parent View.
