Securing your data
IBMR Lotus NotesR security enables you to protect your workspace and data at all times, so only you and the people you designate have access to your data.
Common tasks related to security include:
Changing passwords
Locking your Lotus Notes ID to prevent others from using Lotus Notes when you are away from your computer
Requesting a new name for your Lotus Notes ID
Using Notes shared logon to eliminate Notes password prompts.
Along with these features, there is much more you can do with Lotus Notes security. Most of the security features offered in Lotus Notes can be found in one dialog box called User Security. You can access User Security by clicking
