Viewing Contacts
Many of the Contacts views are populated based on the information you provide.

For example, you must create contact and group entries for them to display in their respective views. Likewise, the By Category, Birthdays & Anniversaries, and By Company views are populated only if you provide that information in the contact record.

Click any of the following views in the Contacts navigation pane:


In addition, you can perform any of the tasks in the table to view your contacts in the way you choose.

Tasks available from Contacts views

Scroll to contacts whose names begin with a certain letterClick a letter of the alpha tab.

Click all to return to a complete listing of all contacts.

Note: The Birthdays and Anniversaries view is sorted by date. To use the alpha tabs, first click the Name column to sort by name.

Sort contact entriesColumns that can be sorted have an arrow in them. Click the column heading to toggle the sort order.
Search for a name in the My Contacts viewType the first few letters of a contact or group name to search for contacts.
Display, hide, or change the position of the preview paneClick Show to change the position of the preview pane or to hide it.

Click the arrow in the middle of the preview pane to hide it.
