Responding to an instant meeting invitation
If you are invited to an instant meeting, you can respond by privately chatting with the person sending the invitation, accepting the invitation, or declining and closing the invitation.

Note: The features described in this topic are available only if your company has an IBM Lotus Sametime server. The Macintosh version of Lotus Notes does not support some instant messaging features, for example, instant meetings and multiple-person chats.

If you are invited to a meeting, you can respond in the following ways:

To respond privately by chatting with only the person sending the invitation, click Respond. The invitation remains on your screen, and you can join the meeting at any time.
