Rating and recommending Web pages
If you are using "Notes with Internet Explorer" as your browser, you can rate and recommend Web sites. Whether you connect to the Web directly or through an IBM Lotus Domino server, you must have access to a Domino server in order to rate and recommend sites.

To recommend a site if you connect directly to the Web

Before you begin, ask your Domino administrator for the names of your Domino server and your Server Web Navigator application (for steps 5 and 6).

1. Open the Web page and save it to your Personal Web Navigator application.

2. Open the Personal Web Navigator application.

3. From the menu, click Actions > Internet Options.

4. Click the Collaboration options tab.

5. Enter the name of the Domino server.

6. Enter the name of the Server Web Navigator application.

7. Click Save and Close.

8. Highlight (don't open) the site you want to rate.

9. At the top of the view click Share. Share  button

10. In the Share Options dialog box, choose to either copy the page or create a rating for it in the shared application.

11. (Optional) If you choose to create a rating, click a button between 1 and 5, select a category for it, add any comments, and click OK.

To recommend a site if you connect through a Domino server

When you recommend a Web site it appears in the Recommended view in the Server Web Navigator application.

1. Open the Web page.

2. From the menu, click Actions > Recommend.

3. Click a button between 1 and 5, select a category for it, and add any comments.
