Creating a notebook
Your notebook is a place for you to store private documents you don't want to share with others. You can use the notebook as a diary or even as a holding place to compose documents before they are ready for distribution.

Notebook files are stored on your system in the NotesR/data directory.

1. Click File > Application > New.

2. Select Local in the Server field to store the application on your hard disk.

3. Enter a title for your personal notebook in the Title field. The title you enter becomes the File Name with .NSF as the extension.

Tip:

You can change the file name in the

File Name

field if you don't want the file name to be the same as the title of the notebook.

4. Choose the Notebook (8) template from the list of templates.

5. Click OK.
