WORKING WITH NOTES DOCUMENTS

Deleting documents when there is a Trash view
In applications that include a Trash view, such as Mail, when you delete a document, it is moved to the Trash view where it remains until you empty the Trash, or for a period of time determined by you (usually in user preferences). Until that time, you can view and restore documents in the Trash view.

To delete a document

1. Select one or more documents to delete.

2. Click Edit > Delete, or press the Delete key.

3. (Optional) Click Trash, and then click Empty Trash to remove the documents permanently from the Trash view.

4. Click Yes when prompted.

Tip: To restore documents from the Trash view, select one or more documents, and then click Restore or simply click Restore All.

Note: You need Author access to an application to delete documents you created, and Editor or greater access to delete documents others have created.
