To look up the user type for an unspecified user
If you have a name in your ACL that is not assigned to a specific user type, it is listed as Unspecified. If you are not sure whether the name is a user, a server, or a group, you can have IBMR Lotus NotesR look up the name for you.

When NotesR looks up the name, it automatically assigns the correct user type to the unspecified entries.

1. Make sure that you have Manager access in the database ACL.

2. Open the database.

3. Click File > Application > Access Control.

4. Click Advanced.

5. Click Look Up User Types for 'Unspecified' Users.
