ELEMENTS OF LOTUS NOTES
The status bar is context-sensitive. The messages and features that appear in the status bar depend on the task you are performing and where you are in Lotus Notes.
The status bar in Lotus Notes shows:
Tip: The Send Outgoing Mail, Send & Receive Mail, and Receive Mail commands on this menu work with both Lotus Notes mail and Internet mail.
Preferences let you modify the status bar. You can add or remove items and establish the order in which the status bar items will display.
1. Choose File > Preferences > Status Bar Preferences.
Tip: If you enable the Progress item, you can also set Audible notification when complete, and Lotus Notes beeps when the task in progress, such as replication, completes.
5. Click OK.
To discard all the modifications you've made and return to the original settings for the status bar, click the Defaults button.
Tip: You can open Status Bar Preferences by right-clicking anywhere on the status bar and choosing Status Bar Preferences.
