Removing names from the instant messaging contact list
You can remove an individual or a group from your instant messaging contact list at any time. Once a person is removed, you can still chat with them, but they will not appear on your contact list.

Note: The features described in this topic are available only if your company has an IBM Lotus Sametime server. The Macintosh version of Lotus Notes does not support some instant messaging features, for example, instant meetings and multiple-person chats.

To remove an individual or group from your instant messaging contact list, follow these steps:

1. Select the name or names of the individual or group. Hold Ctrl to select multiple names; hold Shift to select multiple names that are adjacent to one another.

2. Press Delete.

3. Click Yes when the confirmation dialog box appears.
